If you haven’t already, you’re about to: hear about this book I’ve been reading called The Slight Edge. It’s written by Jeff Olson, and the best way I can describe it is that this is a guide to being successful in pretty much every area of your life: finances, health, work, marriage, spiritual growth, and the list goes on. I’m about halfway through, so I should probably have called this a book midview, but I’m really enjoying this book and I’m already applying the principles. The day after I finished the first chapter, I was at work and I found myself thinking of ways I could apply the Slight Edge. After the first couple chapters, you really start to learn what the Slight Edge is and you can start applying the philosophies and principles of the Slight Edge immediately. In fact, the author encourages it. I would love to tell you what the Slight Edge is and totally ruin the book for you, but the author is so much better at explaining the principle of the Slight Edge so you’re just going to have to read it for yourself. And I guess I’d better finish it, too.
